Ardex Decorative Concrete Topping

Ardex Decorative Concrete Topping

Although vinyl floors are hard-wearing as well as looking appealing, over time they can become dirty, worn and damaged. If you are considering replacing your vinyl floor due to its condition, why not let us take a look at it for you?

In many cases we are able to restore a vinyl floor back to its former glory for far less than the cost of a replacement. We have a number of options available for restoration, allowing us to transform stained, tatty vinyl into a stunning floor surface. What’s more, if required we can apply a suitable top coat, providing a tough finish that can prolong the useful life of your vinyl for years.

Strip and seal floor restoration

The most common procedure that we perform in order to bring a vinyl floor back into top condition is a strip and seal. The first part of this process involves removing the top layer of the vinyl (without removing the material from the floor). The majority of cracks, stains and other signs of deterioration are removed as part of this procedure. The vinyl is then sealed using a special, ultra-tough coating. This forms a protective layer over the vinyl, keeping it safe from future spills or wear and tear. We have honed our procedure so that it is as fast and efficient as possible, minimising the amount of time that your floor is out of action.
